Oxidation Stability
Oxidation stability is a vital indicator of how fuels, lubricants, greases and insulating oils will perform over time under stress, resisting degradation, sludge formation, acid build-up or loss of performance. Scavini’s Oxidation Stability series offers a comprehensive suite of automatic instruments engineered to deliver robust, repeatable testing across many applications and standards.
From compact benchtop units (2, 4 or 6 positions) for testing greases, gasoline and aviation fuels (per ASTM D 942, D 525, D 873, etc.), to floor-mounted twin setups for more demanding turbine oil or RPVOT/TFOUT testing (ASTM D 2272 / D 4742), to high-capacity 4–12 position rigs for distillate fuels (ASTM D 2274 / IP 388) or inhibited oils (ASTM D 943 / IP 157): Scavini’s portfolio adapts to varied throughput and regulatory needs.
Each instrument is built with aluminium-block heating, precise flow/pressure control, and optional mass flow or variable-area flowmeters to ensure tight process control. Through Crea Laboratory Technologies, Australian laboratories gain access to these advanced systems with full local support, calibration and service tailored for your workflows.
